In response to COVID-19, Federal Auction Service has made a precautionary decision that the organization has never made before.
Federal Auction Service is cancelling ALL live auction events for March and April 2020 across Canada. Auctions beyond April will be announced only as conditions allow. Even though the financial aspect is of importance to all clients (both Buyers and Sellers), the health and safety of all families is of the greatest importance to us.
The escalation of this Pandemic and its possible harmful effects to you and your families served as the guiding light in this decision. The most immediate issue is your safety.
It is with very heavy hearts that we came to this decision. We tried everything reasonable to not cancel our auctions, but in the end, the fact that we view each of you as family and your well-being is always our most important consideration, made this the right and only choice for Federal Auction Service.
Our thoughts are with those who are most affected, either directly or indirectly, by the pandemic. The heroic selflessness of the first responders, doctors, nurses, researchers, public health experts and public servants who are working tirelessly to care for people in need and to prevent the spread of this virus is truly inspiring.
